# Spicy Overlays

> Spicy Overlays is a free live-tip overlay system for cam streamers: real-time tip alerts, animated tip goals, a subathon timer, three games, 16 sound effects and a drag-and-drop builder that drops into OBS as a browser source. It costs nothing, has no watermark and no trial period.

The overlay is a web page, not an OBS plugin. You build it in a browser, then paste one URL into an OBS Browser Source. Tips are read from the streamer's own logged-in browser session by a browser extension, so no cam-site password is ever handed to the service. Multiple sites feed the same overlay, and goals combine tips across all of them towards one target.

Published by JBSP Productions. The overlay system is free permanently; the paid product is a separate earnings-analytics suite.

## Features

- **Live tip alerts**: driven by a purpose-built browser extension, not a third-party alert service. No copy-pasting links, nothing to keep in sync by hand.
- **Customisable alerts**: 16 built-in fonts across display, handwritten, serif and block styles, plus custom colours, sizes, line height, duration and layout. `@user`, `@amount` and `@MenuText` tokens insert the dynamic parts.
- **Goal bars**: animated star, heart and jar fills driven by tips. Multi-site (tips from several sites combine towards one target) and multi-goal (several goals at once, each with its own amount, animation and sound). Excess tokens after a goal completes can carry over or be ignored.
- **Subathon timer**: a running countdown that gains time as tips arrive — seconds per token, a threshold, a reset target, per-move animation and sound, and start/pause/reset from the controller.
- **Games**: Spin The Wheel, Emoji Slots and Dice Roll, all free. A tip of the right amount queues a game and the streamer approves every play from the controller before it runs.
- **Sound and animation**: 16 built-in sound effects with per-sound volume and a master control, paired with built-in animations.
- **Builder**: drag-and-drop editor with exact X/Y/W/H controls; output is one URL for an OBS Browser Source.
- **Lovense support**: connect a toy from the controller, fire vibration levels manually, or attach them to tip amounts.
- **Controller**: a companion panel for queue management, manual tips, goals and games, installable as a web app on phone or desktop.
- **Manual controls**: manual tip buttons and a custom amount box, so alerts, goals and games still work on sites that do not yet have live capture.

## Supported sites for live tip capture

Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, CAM4, CamSoda, Reveal Me. More are being added. Sites that are not covered can still be driven by the controller's manual tip buttons.
